This research aims firstly at indicating the firm relation between the Quran and, hadith as two valuable sources of Islamic teachings. Secondly it tackles the explanation of the divine nature, everlastingness, and eternity of the Quran and its teachings through centuries from the perspective of the hadiths of the infallible. Looking up , hadith texts relevant to this issue in , hadith sources studying and analyzing them, I have reached the following conclusions: The hadiths of the infallible strongly and sincerely defend the sacred position of the Quran. This defense takes two general shapes or axes: Defending the Quran per se, and defending the teachings of the Quran. The above – mentioned axes involve a number of principles such as inalterability of the Quran and negation of any addition or omission in it , intrinsic harmony of the verses and lack of discrepancies, responses to the spurious arguments of those who have claimed any conflict among the verses, a unique way of reading the Quran and negation of alleged readings, disapproval of arbitrary interpretation and correcting inauthentic interpretations مقاله‌ی پیش رو به بررسی دفاع حدیث از ساحت قرآن کریم می پردازد. هدف از این بررسی، نخست نشان دادن ارتباط وثیق قرآن و حدیث در جایگاه دو منبع ارزش مند آموزه های اسلامی و سپس تبیین الهی بودن و نیز پایداری و ماندگاری قرآن و آموزه های ناب آن در رهگذر قرون متمادی از دیدگاه احادیث معصومان است. پس از بازیابی متون احادیث مرتبط با موضوع از منابع حدیثی و تحلیل و بررسی آنها، نتایج زیر به دست آمده است: احادیث معصومان به جد مدافع حریم قدسی قرآن است و این دفاع در دو محور کلیِ دفاع از موجودیت قرآن و دفاع از آموزه های آن صورت گرفته است. محورهای یاد شده خود دربردارنده‌ی چند اصل است: تغییرناپذیری قرآن و نفی هر گونه افزایش بر آن و کاستی از آن، هماهنگی درونی آیات قرآن و اختلاف نداشتن آنها با یکدیگر، پاسخ به شبهات مدعیان اختلاف آیات با یکدیگر، وحدت قرائت قرآن و نفی قرائت های ادعایی، نکوهش تفسیر به رأی و تصحیح تفسیرهای نادرست.
