abstract = {Sunni and Shiite schools have different views concerning the meaning of the verse of promise (xxiv, 55) and signification of the promised people. There is no argument for either school to deny the application of the promied people in this verse to Imam Mahdi and his companions at least as one of the extentions or instances in view of the generality of the wording in the verse. Taking an analytical and critical method, this study has concluded that this verse exclusively applies to the age of reappearance. The arguments behind this claim are as follows: unconditionality of the expressions in the verse particularly "complete establishment of the religion" and "guarantee of an all out security", the traditions of both schools, and the link between this verse and that of the domination of religion(IX,33) },

abstract_fa ={فریقین درباره‌ی مفاد آیه‌ی وعد (نور: 55) و تعیین مصداق قوم موعود، در این آیه اختلاف نظر دارند. هرچند هیچ یک از دو فریق، با توجه به عموم الفاظ آیه نمی توانند تطبیق قوم موعود در این آیه را بر امام مهدى و یارانشان دست کم به مثابه‌ی یکى از مصادیق انکار کنند؛ دلیلى هم بر این انکار نیست. این پژوهش که به شیوه‌ی تحلیلى ـ انتقادى انجام یافته، بر این باور است که با درک ویژگى هاى قوم موعود و اطلاق تعابیر آیه ـ به ویژه تمکین و استقرار کامل دین و برقراری امنیتی فراگیرـ و با توجه به روایات فریقین و نیز پیوند مفاد این آیه با آیه‌ی سیطره‌ی دین (توبه: 33) مى توان بر تطبیق آن بر عصر ظهور به عنوان یگانه مصداق، تأکید کرد.},
