abstract = {Semantics is a branch of linguistics or an independent branch through which it is possible to analyze the meanings of the words and sentences of a text finding their exact and proper positions based on their semantic system. This article deals with the semantic analysis of “seeking proximity to Allah” in the holy Quran. Achieving this goal, it has shed new light on the words lying in the semantic field of the state of being a servant of God and relevant to the focal word “proximity”. The semantic analysis of proximity in the holy Quran shows that this term next to the term “Allah” refers to a new meaning different from its usages at the time of revelation. This concept in the holy Quran has a graded meaning like that of faith “Iman”. The faithful “Muminun”, the virtuous “Muttaqun” and the righteous “Abrar” each have reached a particular grade of proximity. Towards his journey to Allah and embracing Islam, man is admitted into the domain of the proximity of Allah getting closer to its central core through faith, good deed, virtue, and righteousness},

abstract_fa ={معناشناسی (Semantics) بخشی از دانش زبان­شناسی یا شاخه ای مستقل از آن است که از رهگذر آن می توان به تحلیل معنای واژه ها و جمله های یک متن پرداخت و جایگاه دقیق کلمه ها و ترکیب های آن را با توجه به نظام معنایی که در آن قرار دارد، به دست آورد. این نوشتار به تحلیل معناشناختی «قرب الی الله» در قرآن می پردازد. برای این منظور به واژه هایی که در حوزه‌ی معناییِ (Semantic fields) بندگی خدا با واژه‌ی کانونی «قرب» ارتباط معنایی دارند، توجه شده است. تحلیل معناشناختی قرب در قرآن نشان می دهد که این واژه با اضافه به واژه‌ی «الله»، از معنایی تازه از مفهوم قرب حکایت دارد که با متفاهم آن در عصر نزول متفاوت است. این مفهوم در قرآن مانند ایمان ذومراتب است. مؤمنان، متقین و ابرار هریک به مراتبی از قرب نائل آمده اند. انسان در سیر الی الله با پذیرش اسلام به قلمرو قرب الهی وارد می شود و با ایمان، عمل صالح، تقوی و بِرّ به هسته‌ی مرکزی آن نزدیک تر می گردد.},
