Abstract:
The most important ontological debate in the field of Ethics is the question of the origin of moral value. The source of moral value in each of the moral theories has characteristics that distinguish that theory from rival theories, and from this point of view, it is important to pay attention to it. In the current research, with the correct premise of assigning a distinct moral theory to the Holy Quran and using the method of analyzing the divine verses and applying it to the theories proposed in the field of meta-ethics and normative ethics, we focused on deriving the indicators of the source of moral value from the verses of the Holy Quran and in the form of Implicitly, the influence of each of these indicators in the formation of a distinct moral theory arising from the verses of the Holy Quran and its relationship with other theories have been mentioned. As a result of the above research, it was found that the source of moral value from the perspective of the Holy Quran is an objective reality, not mental, spiritual, not material, rational, not irrational, motivating, not indifferent and neutral, internal, not external, and single not plural. Based on this, it can be claimed that the theory of Qur'anic ethics can be considered a special type of virtue ethics that focuses on reality, spirituality, rationality and unity, provides the motivation of the moral agent to act, and provides the means for the evolution of the essence of human being.
