Based on the verse 16 of Sura al-Shu'ara', after announcing the prophethood of Moses and Aaron, God said «فَأْتِیا فِرْعَوْنَ...». Reviewing about forty Persian translations and eighty Qur’anic interpretations shows that despite five interpretations of this verse, almost all translators and many interpreters have rendered the verse as: "So go to Pharaoh." Given that the root of the word "أتی" means "to come," a question arises as to what evidence these researchers employed to attribute a meaning that is entirely contradictory to this root in this verse. Reviewing the interpreters’ views in this regard is necessary to clarify their strengths or ambiguities and to correct potentially inaccurate translations. An analytical-critical study of the interpreters' views and other evidence indicates that this translation, despite its widespread acceptance, leads to a partial loss of the verse's meaning and overlooks the eloquence of the Qur’an. Therefore, the exact meaning of the verse is as follows: "So come to Pharaoh [I am there]" or "Come to Pharaoh at ease [I am there]." Unlike the popular translation, this translation has some strengths such as "conformity to the literal meaning of the root "أتی", "possessing eloquence," and "maintaining the psychological state of Moses and Aaron when receiving the command."
